Steph Korey co-founded Away, a global lifestyle brand, in 2015. Under her leadership as CEO, the company raised $156 million, achieved a $1.4 billion valuation, and was recognized twice by Fast Company as one of the “World’s Most Innovative Companies.” She stepped down as CEO in 2020. Before Away, Steph led the supply chain at Warby Parker, overseeing product development, sourcing, and fulfillment.
As an investor and advisor, Steph focuses on early-stage companies, particularly those founded by entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds. She believes in the universal distribution of talent but recognizes the unequal distribution of opportunity.
Steph holds a B.A. in International Relations from Brown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She was featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Retail and E-Commerce in 2016. Steph resides in New York with her husband and their two daughters.
