Steph Korey is an entrepreneur and early stage investor.

In 2015, Steph co-founded global lifestyle brand Away, which raised $156 million over five years, reached a valuation of $1.4 billion, and was twice named one of Fast Company’s “World’s Most Innovative Companies.” Steph served as CEO until her departure in 2020 and continues to serve on the company’s Board of Directors. Prior to founding Away, Steph was Head of Supply Chain at Warby Parker, where she built and led the team handling product development, sourcing, and fulfillment. 

Steph invests in and advises early stage companies. She believes that talent is universally distributed but opportunity isn’t, and the majority of her investments are in companies founded by entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds. 

Steph Korey earned a B.A. in International Relations from Brown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. In 2016, Steph was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Retail and ECommerce. She lives in New York with her husband and daughter.
